What is Smart Power Station?
The fuel-saving equipment consists mainly of two components: diesel generators and an intelligent energy storage system. The energy storage system includes EMS (Energy Management System), PCS (Power Conversion System), and BMS (Battery Management System).
Application Scenarios: Suitable for mining, road and bridge construction, tunnel projects, and regions with underdeveloped power grids for emergency power supply. Essentially, it’s an upgraded, fuel-saving version of traditional diesel generators.
-
Fuel Savings: Saves 30%-50% fuel compared to traditional diesel generators.
Working Principle: The EMS intelligently controls the diesel generator to operate in the most efficient power range. Excess power is stored in the energy storage system when the external load is lower than the generator’s output. When the load exceeds the generator’s output, the storage system automatically discharges to supplement the power supply.
This example simplifies the energy-saving logic, but in reality, it’s far more complex with thousands of algorithms. Our years of R&D and project applications have led to stable product quality and reliable energy-saving performance.
Currently, we have around 100 power station projects worldwide, providing stable power to over 50 clients. Our projects have withstood challenges in high altitudes above 4000m, high temperatures (40°C), extreme cold (-20°C), and coastal high humidity. We look forward to offering more energy-efficient, stable, and intelligent power solutions to more customers.
On construction sites and mines without access to electricity, diesel generators are commonly used, but they have three major drawbacks:
When the load decreases, generators produce a fixed amount of power, leading to wasted electricity.
When the load increases, the generator may not supply enough power, requiring additional capacity or larger generators. Since many power demands are momentary, investing in high-capacity generators for such short-term needs is not cost-effective.
Generators are noisy, making them unsuitable for employees who stay on-site overnight.
To address these issues, our company has developed an energy storage system integrated with diesel generators. It charges the battery when the load is low and delivers additional power within 20 milliseconds when the load exceeds generator’s capacity. Additionally, it provides power for living and recreational needs, ensuring a quieter environment for employees staying overnight.
Currently, we offer two standard models: 130KW/76.8KWH and 250KW/153.6KWH. Other capacities can be customized based on customer requirements.
