The EMS intelligently controls the diesel generator to operate in the most efficient power range. Excess power is stored in the energy storage system when the external load is lower than the generator’s output. When the load exceeds the generator’s output, the storage system automatically discharges to supplement the power supply.
Example: If a project currently uses a traditional 500kW diesel generator, switching to our Smart Power Station with a “360kW diesel generator + energy storage system” would suffice. During operation, the EMS controls the generator to supply around 250kW. If the load is only 100kW, the excess 150kW is stored. When the storage system is full and the load remains at 100kW, the generator will shut down, and the storage system will supply power independently. If the load exceeds 250kW, both the generator and storage system will power the project simultaneously. Throughout the process, the EMS automatically adjusts to ensure fuel efficiency.
